Changing itunes account on iphone

Hi,
I recently took over my sons iphone, unfortunately the account details for downloading stuff from itunes is in his name, I have tried logging into my itunes account and resynching the phone to see if it will alter this. Basically how do I remove his account details from the phone & get mine on it

when you sync with itunes logged into your account that should do it. logging out as him and logging in as you from app store on the phone will also work. Any apps downloaded through his account will need to be deleted and re added from your account too.0
