Dangerous water?

Hi. I'm in London and recently my water has started to smell/taste odd. It smells of chemicals like at a bad swimming pool :S I called Thameswater and they said it's because they had some work done in the area and I should be patient but it's been over a week. Does anyone know any water inspection companies? What should I do?

    complain to tw and ask for someone to come round and test the water

    Contact the water company to see if they will come and test it. If they wont you could contact environmental health at your local council
