There seems to be a trend of breeders not vaccing pups and claiming it is because so many pups die after reactions to jabs/ all vets have different schedules etc... Sadly no, no one seems to able to identify what the cough is all about. It is non-productive, and seems more troubling after a period of rest.:o

Has the vet tried treating/testing for lungworm? Apparently it is getting more common, although if she has not been out much it is less likely.

No, she has not been tested for it, but she has not been out until 2 days ago...cough seems no worse/better for going out:o

I would maybe mention it to your vet, she could have picked it up from her mom or another dog and it does present with coughing. Treatment in my experience was just an intensive round of worming
