Yeah agree. I would not drive if I did not feel up to it etc as it would be stupid. However if they refuse me a Provisional I do have the option of going to the Sheriff Court to ask the Sheriff (appeal).

I shall wait and see what the DVLA say. If refused I will no doubt be told the grounds and then decide if any action to take. My G.P. did say year ago I will NEVER be allowed to drive a lorry/train or plane. All I can do is apply and see. Fingers crossed though as would be nice to take lessons.

Every detail in provide is true. However I feel that by doing say voluntary work at Cit Advice it would go against this.

For example needing held 7 days a week etc. I know you've said it does not mean I get this. However to me I feel I'm de frading if this makes sense? Could I phone and ask DLA if by say working with cit Advice would breach my DLA application?

So frustrating this. I've applied for a provisional driving licence also. My mind is telling me if I'm fit to get this then I should not get the DLA.

Honestly I hate the way I look so in depth to things! hate it!

whatever you do,work or voluntary work will never affect your DLA,unless a change in your care/mobility needs is now the reason you can do such work/volunteer.
The great thing about volunteering is that if you dont feel upto it one day theres no pressure to do it.
So there is no need to discuss or report your position to the dla office unless there has been a change in your needs, even if there has i would always suggest leaving it long enough to be sure the changes are permanent

On my claim form which I have a copy of, at times I dont match what I said. Then at times I do. That is just the thing, one week bad then three good etc etc ect.

I filled the form in on the basis of my partner helping me, or somebody. However as I said things change and variations. The joys I suppose LOL.

The only thing that has changed is me dealing with forms. I can manage these etc etc. I probably need to inform DLA of this aspect ,as I put down under the communication section I had problems in this respect.

As already said on here. My letter states supervision and I don't require somebody with me at all. Just it would be wize.
  • If it would be wise to have someone with you then thats ok,even if you dont have anyone with you,its about the need not the reallity
as for filling in forms i doubt that played much if any part in your getting dla
honestly bryando i wouldnt worry so much about your dla UNLESS there are significant changes in your needs
