Because I don't think Labour are the "masters of deception" with their tax policy. It's not like they tried to hide the fact they were abolishing tax credits on private pensions, or raising NI instead of income tax. It's all there to see if you look.
I don't think Labour is a nefarious conspiracy, just a government that has made some big mistakes that they refuse to acknowledge. Time for the other team to bat...isn't that how we do it in British politics? People were fed up of Major's government because it was useless and had run out of ideas - same situation today with the incumbent govt, isn't it?0 -
Lol, have you got nothing better to do than stupid posts like that.
OK, they didn't raise taxes as a proportion of GDP - stealth and non-stealth taxes - to fund higher public spending sustainably.
Are you feeling better? Can the grown-ups continue the discussion now?
Hey the stealth taxes were your lots main moaning point before the recession

So, the facts are....
- the government should come clean, and then we truly know what predicament (or not) we are in
- armed with the facts we could make the best decision on our future governance
- but...we are denied the truth because they don't trust us to make informed judgements; they'd rather spin us a line about the other lot being the party of nastiness
It doesn't seem our political system supports anything but spin does it?0 -

It really worries me what the state of my children's education will be if there are a lot of cuts to the education budget. It also really worries me what will happen if I or any of my loved ones get ill.0
