My 18 month contract ends this month and along with it my discount so i'll be paying £10 pm more for the same minutes/text.
Last week asked for my PAC. I had already decided I wanted to move away from VF due to problems in the past. Was told PAC would be sent (no received so far) but they also tried to convince me they are much improved with regards customer service etc etc and suggested a couple of options for me which would mean being locked back in for a minimum of another 12 months.
You know how these conversations go .......... "so I can set that up for you now". I had to be fairly insisted that I wasn't going to make a decision immediately and eventually he relented and said "ok i'll make a note on your account". Presume this is why I've not received the PAC I asked for.
Now I definitely need to do something - certainly don't want to be paying another £10 per month to stay on the same deal. I was thinking about upgrading to an iphone but not 100% sure. Apart from PAYG is there anywhere I can move my number without getting tied in for a long time?

There are rolling 30 day sim only contract (most of the network do them), but that about the only other option apart from payg.0
