    Picture Messaging
So, what's Picture Messaging all about?

Picture Messaging (sometimes known as MMS) lets you send messages to your friends that can contain photos and sound, video as well as text from your mobile to another mobile in the UK or to an email address anywhere in the world.

If you have a camera phone you can take your own photos, add a message, and forward it on. If your phone is compatible, you can also send sounds & video clips. The maximum message size you can send is currently 100Kb; this is a standard set by our network provider and may increase in size in the future.

Who can I send picture messages to?

You can send picture messages to anyone, even if they don’t have a Picture Messaging phone. You must send your first picture message before you can receive any picture messages on your mobile phone.
What if my friend doesn’t have a compatible phone?

You can send a Picture Message to an email account, or you could send it to their mobile. If they are not able to receive Picture Messages they will receive a text message with instructions advising how to see their message online. Remember - you need to send a picture message to activate the service.
How can I start using Picture Messaging?

To start using the easyMobile.com Picture Messaging service, you need to make sure that you have the correct settings in your handset. Then all you need to do is send your first picture. It's as simple as that!

    Mobile Internet
What is the Mobile Internet (GPRS-WAP)

Mobile Internet is a version of the internet available through your mobile phone. The screen on your phone is not big enough to view a regular 'internet page' as you would see it on your computer, so you can instead you can view Mobile Internet versions of your favourite websites.

There are two ways to connect to the Mobile Internet:

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) offers you an 'always on' connection and offers a faster connection whilst you are browsing the Mobile Internet. You will also only ever be charged for the data you send or receive. For example: whilst viewing each internet page, rather than for the time you are using the service, you only pay for the data to download the page. So if you don't change the page, you won't pay anything!

You can also connect to the Mobile Internet using a dial up connection (CSD). You will see exactly the same pages, however it will take longer to download the pages, as the speed is slower. You will be charged per minute that you are connected to the Mobile Internet (the same way as you would when making a voice call).
How can I start using the Mobile Internet?

To start using the Mobile Internet, you will need a compatible handset with the correct settings. All new and recently purchased phones offer access to the Mobile Internet, however you may wish to check with your handset manufacture to confirm this.

    3G

easyMobile now offer even faster mobile internet over 3G. This means that you can download video clips and browse the Mobile Internet even more conveniently than ever before!
What does 3G mean to easyMobile?

If you already have a 3G compatible handset you will notice that, whilst you are in the 3G coverage area, your Mobile Internet surfing experience will be even faster than before. This means that downloads will take less time to arrive and web pages load even faster.
What are the benefits of using 3G?

You will receive faster data transfer speeds when using your mobile to surf the mobile internet. You may notice that you have a stronger signal and even clearer calls. You can use all of our services wherever you have coverage, as easyMobile do not offer any 3G specific services, such as video calls.
Can I use 3G networks abroad?

Yes. In countries where we hold a roaming agreement with any 3G networks, you can use their network as you would whilst in the UK, subject to available services.

Please see our roaming prices for further information.
Do I need a new Handset?

You will need to use a 3G compatible handset. easyMobile will introduce some 3G handsets to our range later this year, however you can bring your 3G handset with you.
    Please note:

Please be aware that some NEC 3G handsets are not compatible with the easyMobile service.
    What does it cost?

When you make a call, send a text, or surf the Mobile Internet you still pay the same great rate. Click here to see our prices.
    Where can I use 3G?

3G is currently available in the major cities and suburbs. Our network provider is building an extensive network coverage area which is increasing on a daily basis. Coverage information can be found here.
How do I know which network I am on?

Your handset will display a 3G logo when you are logged onto the 3G network, however you will not notice any difference in service when making a voice call or sending a text. When send a picture message or surf the Mobile Internet, you will notice that your pages load quicker than when using the 2G network.
    What about Video Calling?

easyMobile have no plans at the moment to introduce Video calling.
How do I use the 3G network?

You use your phone in exactly the same way as you always have done. You don’t need to worry about selecting or moving between networks, as the handset will do all of this without you even noticing.
