When you had it installed how long did it take for the channels to work? My cousin has just had the box put in but the man that installed it says the channels take up to four hours to start working?
Ours worked straight away... Just wondering if it's a lazy non finish the job muppet that set it up?!

when i got sky+ (obviously may be different from HD) the man actually went through all the channels and functions with me before he left?! seems a bit weird that they werent working when your man left?0

Turned out he had to ring Sky and they 'paired the card with the new box'. Typical lazy engineer couldn't wait to get away. probably said leave it four hours as that gave him plenty of time to leave the area without getting called back!0

Same happened to me but he said 6 hours I phoned Sky and the guy I spoke to said the engineer should have called them whilst he was installing it.0
