I have written a detailed email disputing the charges. as per instructions with isp. Haven't done a hard copy yet(snail mail). Will speak to solicitor tomorrow for further advice and will call ofcom and see what advice they can give me. As a single parent, I find this all very stressful and I hate fights and confrontation, but feel that in this case it is worth standing up for myself.0

As I said, until you have exhausted the ISP's complaints procedure, ofcom will not touch it. I think you have to allow them 8 weeks, so the sooner you get that registered letter off to them the better.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
