thanks for all the posts, apologies for not replying earlier, i cannot access at work :(

We are not trying to 'get off' or 'pass to the least effect' driver (although, as a company car driver, it wouldnt really affect me, other than a "be more careful" lecture from HR), but i dont want to take the blame if it was me, and then have pc plod on the doorstep with a nice picture of the back of my Step daughters head, blone hair and pigtails included (hang on, it was a weekend, could have been me all along!) and get done for perverting the course of justice!

we received the notice within 14 days of the alledged offence, yes.

will asking for a pic affect being able to take the points, or are we effectively asking for courts to judicate?

    any thoughts would be appreciated.

In answer to your question, I think you can ask for the photo then still take the fixed penalty so I wouldn't worry. Could always call the ticket office and ask. Or even ask them to describe the person over the phone! Might save some time?

So in 2 weeks you managed to suffer from selective memory loss, I really feel for you having such a debilitating condition :D

I dunno. I can't remember where I was this time last week. Hell, I can't remember where I was this time last night :)
