They will* but let them know from the outset. Can delay things a tad, a few years ago it was done on the day when taken into the LVLO, last year when I changed mine last it took 4 days at the Manchester office, presume others are the same. No real problem as you continue to use your old vehicle until the dealer gets the registration back but you can't have your shiny (still silver?) new one quite as soon.

Transfer the plate now, whatever you do, do not wait untill you actually sell the car:eek:

It gets very complicated and if the other party does not do there bit, you loose your precious reg, :money:
