:(Hi, Can someone help me?
I paid for some glasses at tesco, the next day when I looked at the receipt, I found out they had not put Photochromic lenses on it. I also was not offered them at the time
So I went into tesco 9.00am to add it to my order because it had been missed off.
I was then told that they could not do it because they were already making them, but it could be done after, at a cost of £49 .
I ordered these at 5.30pm the day before, that was quick.
So the glass came back to the store, now they say it will cost £134 to do it.
Also if we had it on the order in the first place it would have £80 not £49.
They can’t get that right.
What should I do, I have not collected the glasses yet.
Can I get refund?

This would probably have been better suited to the Consumer rights sub-forum rather than this sub-forum which deals with site feedback.
But in answer to your question, probably not. When you ordered and paid for the goods, the contract was formed. As long as tesco supply goods in accordance with that contract, they are doing nothing wrong. It was not Tesco's fault that the contract you initially formed with them was not what you finally wanted.
Tesco do allow you to cancel the order if you contact them before they have started making your glasses, but you left it too long I'm afraid and the manufacture of your glasses had already commenced.
It's not as though Tesco can put your glasses on the shelf to sell to another customer if you were to return them, they are custom made to your own requirements."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
