using quidco for contract phone when already have rolling sim?
Options
I have a rolling sim only contract with vodafone (1 month at a time) and want to get a different phone on a contract.
can I do this through quidco or will that not work as I am an existing customer.
Also will I be able to keep my existing number?
Thanks for your help.

You can't start a new acc and move your old number to it. None of the network will allow that, its called a backdoor upgrade (getting a new customer deal while being an existing customer).
You'd need to port your number to another networks payg and then back..0 -
Thanks Jon,
I noticed now that on quidco if I look at the orange deals it says cashback on customer new accounts only
but on vodafone it doesn't specify that just says cashback on pay monthly contract.
Does that mean that existing customers using quidco would still get cashback or just that orange have written a better description of their terms.
Will probably ask on the quidco forums as well
Thanks again

I think if you follow the Quidco links to any of the networks it'll take you to the new acc section of their sites rather than the upgrade section.
Either way, they wouldn't let you move a number from an old acc to to a new one...0
