Has anybody had any of the "Post Office Returns" labels in with their C8 delivery? Apparently they are trialling a scheme which lets you send your returns back via the post office using a special label which they give you.
Unfortunately they haven't given much more information with it, so its not clear if you still use Avon boxes or whether its for smaller amounts of returns in jiffy bags.
Also it appears to be paid for delivery (free to you) but it doesn't really say!!!
I'll admit I need to go away and read it more carefully, but has anybody else come across these?0 -
yes i had them too and wasnt sure whether to use them or not so just used some of my old labels to return items this time. It did say you couldnt return aerosols via royal mail though0

Just to double check something regarding returns. I asked my ASM but TBH I've lost all faith in her.
If a customer orders a lipstick for instance, uses it for 88 days until it's half used, can they still return it under the 90 day guarantee? The ASM says yes, but it just seems so wrong to me.
Also if someone does return, do we return their money immediately, or waiting until we're credited off Avon first?Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -
Yes you can return it still - if you get a customer doing that a lot....well maybe then take them off your list!
As for giving the money back - depends whether you have the money or not, if I still have my avon money and haven't paid it into the bank yet then I'll give it them back, if not they have to wait. If they've placed a new order - then most people are happy to have the money deducted from their next order which is easier.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Yes I noticed that. Have asked my ASM who knows nothing about it so have said i'd email her what it says tomorrow so she can look into it.0 -
Hi everyone!
I have just placed my 3rd campaign order since starting AVON. I have been meeting the HOV every time and really enjoy it. I have decided to hold an at home party soon, at my mums house and already have loads of people who will come.
I have found some great ideas for games, raffles and showing of products, BUT i cant seem to find the pass the parcel story so many women talk of.
Its basically a story with lots of lefts and rights in it, and as you here them, you must pass the parcel. When the story ends that person keeps the parcel.
Does anyone have this story or one they use?
Also, does anyone have any good ideas of other games?

Can't you make your own up? Start something like
"When I left the house this morning to go to work, I turned left into the next road, and then right onto the main road. I realised I had left my phone at home so I left that street and returned home. On my way back to work I realised that it was my friends birthday so I thought "Right I must remember that!", and decided to write it on my hand".
And so on. Sorry that is such a boring story, but you get the drift. Note the evil "write" instead of "right" at the end to trick 'em.0 -

Thanks for the help its much better than my attempts, mine just sound awful!
Have you had much luck with avon parties?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Just start off like that, really you or your character needs to be walking to a destination so you can fit in the lefts and rights and then try and somehow fit in a "write" rather than a "right". The story doesn't need to be that long, but you need to have enough lefts and rights so that it goes round everybody perhaps a couple of times - depends on how many people you have but you might find it easier to have 2 parcels and 2 groups??
Would it be easier to make it more interesting if you use a character, rather than yourself?? Perhaps base it on Coronation Street or 'Enders (you don't need indepth knowledge just weave in the main landmarks which everybody knows!)
Not done a party yet, was thinking about it but my ASM just gave me 140 new houses in my territory so am concentrating on that at the moment!!0 -

Thanks, I like the idea of using a tv character, I'm going to do a walking around Albert Square one I think, and will probably use two parcels otherwise it would have to be quite long.
My ASM gave me loads more territory last month, I now have 250 houses and 130 flats!!! I am having to order loads of brochures to use.
I'm loving AVON it has been a great move for me, as I'm making money whilst having something fun to do that keeps me fit doing all the walking!!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
