The sarcasm filter has been disabled tonight.
Yes, it's a positive. What do you know about the viewer/buyers? Their financial situation, are they FTBs, are they selling at the moment, have they sold?
Are you conducting your own viewings, or is your agent doing them?0 -
The estate agent is dealing with all viewings due to it being my late fathers property and I still can't bring myself to go to the property. The property needs alot of work doing to it so it is a developer/investor that is interested. I am very new to selling property so pretty naive. The estate agent said it will sell very quickly but I find it hard to believe0

Thats sad but understandable about not being able to go to your Dads house.
Theres plenty of advice to be had on here, so you should be able sell the house reasonably smoothly. Good luck with it all.Justice for the 96 YNWA

sorry to hear that, i had to do the same with my dad's house last year. he died a year ago on the 14th. i let the agent do everything with ours.
On the 2nd viewing front, we have only ever 2nd viewed on somewhere we are seriously thinking about offering on or to check to see if we would be able to change something to make the house work for us.
Hope everything goes well for you. I had to go into the house to get it emptied and cleaned, but i didnt go in much.0 -
Of course. Now your EA will be telling other potential buyers to make up their minds fast.mortgage_help wrote: »I'm selling my dads house & someone has requested a 2nd viewing, is this positive?0 -
I hope the EA does push it because its starting to really stress me out & i'm worried it will take years to sell0

Don't worry - a 2nd viewing is a very good sign.
When we looked for properties we only second viewed 3 flats (out of about 20 or so that we looked at overall), and they were the ones we made offers on.0
