problems installing samsung pc suite - any help appreciated!

Just got my snazzy tocco lite phone & trying to set it up, but having proboems with the software sent with it. Whenever i try to install it comes up firstly with error code 50, then error code 1.

Any ideas very welcome!!!

after more googling, it would seem that the problem lies with the fact the i have windows 7. Anyway around this?

I installed it on windows 7 without any problems for same phone - so doubt if its the OS.

Have you got any previous version of the samsung software on the pc? De-install anything you loaded before and try again.

thanks for reply. no previous installations on pc. Have now successfully downloaded and installed pc suite version 7, but now getting problems getting phone to conect to pc...grrrrrr!

Hence the reason I hate all LG and Samsung phones.
Sony ones no problem - with or without PC sutite, I can plug and play.

Its fiddly - plug in phone and then start the pc suite thing ... I think ..... and not other way around or is it ....darn it ... try both ways ... it eventually gets there.
