the shower that i thought came with the flat (council rented, been here since a kid) had to be removed, as leaking and generally knackered-
they say as they didnt install it (they dod remove it mind..), its up to me to replace.. the contractor that took it away reckons a new circuit will be needed from main fusebox, as current wiring wont meet safety specs?
no ida on cost / need of this, and heard about grants / loans from euro social fund..
anyone done this, know where to start?

Do you have a bath? If so, there is no reason (other than personal preference) for a shower to be fitted, unless you have a medical condition that precludes bathing.0

I would agree that a shower is rarely a necessity. If you need a rinser for hair washing, you can pick them up very cheaply.Gone ... or have I?0 -

are you on benefits? you could apply for a budgeting loan.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0

I represent the ESF and we would be pleased to assist with a grant. However, there are some minor administrative procedures that are necessary, and a small fee is required in order to release the money. You can pay the fee by Western Union...0

Strip wash each day and bath in shallow water two to three times a week. If you have long hair wash it in the sink, you only need two bowl fulls.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
