Halifax Faster Payments Limit

I've looked all over their website but can't seem to find the daily FP sending limit. It is probably staring me in the face, but I just can't see it!!
Any ideas? I need to move some money from a Web Saver account to my reward current account and then into another savings account (which accepts FP). Want it to get there as quickly as possible to avoid lost interest.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's £1000 per transaction up to a maximum daily limit of £10,000.
Hopefully someone who knows for sure will be along shortly. Not just a sucker for sweeties..:o0 -
Those figures sound very familiar. Looks like I'll have to do this as a few separate transactionsSucker_for_sweeties wrote: »I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's £1000 per transaction up to a maximum daily limit of £10,000.

Can they all be done in the same internet banking session (i.e. immediately after the previous transaction?) 0 -
UKPA is showing £2,500 for BoS (presumably including Halifax) retail customers for one-off transactions - http://www.ukpayments.org.uk/faster_payments_service/value_limits/glider3560 wrote: »Those figures sound very familiar. Looks like I'll have to do this as a few separate transactions

As Baldur infers ..... the limit is currently £2500 for 'immediate' FP transactions. Did one earlier today for just under that value from Halifax to Lloyds (and they remain separate identities, currently, for this type of transaction. It's not an internal transfer - yet)If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0

I am almost sure it is £1000 if done over the phone and £2500 if done online. I am not sure how many times a day you can do a FP to the same acc.0

Thanks everyone. Luckily the amount is approximately £2450 - so just within the limit.0

Doing this (all sub £1K as well) got my online access suspended for around 36 hours last week.glider3560 wrote: »Looks like I'll have to do this as a few separate transactions

What's the point of having 'easy access' accounts, if the banks do this sort of thing.
Yes, I know they will say it's for your own protection in case the transactions are dodgy, but it is beginning to feel that you have to ask a bank's permission to do anything with your money these days.

This was happening to me on a regular basis - i closed the Reward accounts and went to RBS... As with Santander / A&L you get what you pay for.YorkshireBoy wrote: »Doing this (all sub £1K as well) got my online access suspended for around 36 hours last week. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
