Just thought I would start this just to see how long people are waiting to get their upheld decisions through the FOS settled.
I have won that has been with them since Dec 2007 original decision made April 2008 partial settlement July 2008. From that point it went to the Ombudsman for a decision concerning successive loan settlements.
Anyway Decision was upheld 21 Sept 2009 to date this has not been settled by Barclays. This is coming up to 6 months.
Can anybody beat this:D

Didn't Barclays loan some to Loan check for the solicitors some have said (or funded the cases). Perhaps they are waiting to rake some back and then will pay you out. LOL0

Great thread Max :T:T, if everyone posted of their experiences with these it will be helpful to give us all ideas, cool.:j
That is a long time Max .
Right with Nemo that one was complained about in 2006, think that was about March time although cannot remember defo dates, it was moved from one Adjudicator to another, so the first one about October 2006, and to another then in 2007, the final decision was about October 2007, and the payout in January 2008.
This one they also classed as one of the complexed ones.
And this one was not fast tracked.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Maxdp, on this one did you get any money back at all from the complaint? Wasn't the complaint because of the loans running into each other and you thought that this mean't more of a reclaim. I am lost with how they have dealt with it? FOS actually agreed didn't they but did they say how to work them out now? I know they do not check figures cause they cannot half the time. DId they say that you are actually owed more money cause of this?0

Hi Marshallka
Yes this was the original that was paid out in July 2008. It was not settled as they only paid the last two PPI amounts they had lost the paperwork etc on the first PPI. Anyway eventually they made an offer in full and final and I queried this through my adjudicator. After about 4 months of toing and froing he told me that this was being referred back to an ombudsman to make a decision. Well they decided that because it was a refinanced or successive loans as they call it it should be calculated again.
Well this has been going on from that point and has been passed from pillar to post.
The last casework support worker (who has now left) told me to trust him, even though he waS NOT talking about successive loans but just the settlement of the first PPI.
I explained and sent him copies of the Ombudsmans answer. We sent the acceptance form of mid - Sept last year. Since then Barclays have lost the faxed form twice and ignored the third e mailed form. After much complaining some nice man from Barclays rang and spoke to the person I am claiming this for but they could not answer cause they were running a training session.
Anyway I rang FOS and pretended to be OP and asked for a telephone No of the person that rang. I also gave OP e mail address so we could converse by e mail so that I can send all relevant copies of correspondence.
In a nutshell they do not know what they are doing.:mad:0
