I typed Mitchell and Butlers CEO into Google and got this:

So, just take the names of the top guys, place their names into the email format of their website [firstname.lastname@emailaddress.com] and try those.

mbplc.com seems to be the generic email address.

I work in a multi-national 100,000+ employee company and the CEO, Execs and chairman all have standard emails. Isn't the purpose of PAs (and EAs if you are lucky) to screen and filter and gatekeep with emails?

Yeah, thats my point. So basically they won't read them, they'll get forwarded to someone else! Unless someone knows many CEO's etc personally no one here can actually say "well actually they quite often do read those emails".

Yep, absolutely right.

That's what the CEOs / Chairmans office usually deals with in my company and they respond on behalf of.

Although saying that I have known a number of times for the CEO to respond directly!
