Hi all,
Sorry for my English.
This is my first post here as I think maybe somebody can help me or give me some advise.
I didn't realize I have been charged for 2 phone tariffs; new one from carphonewarehouse and old one from very old tarrif that I expected it should expire since 2009. I phoned O2 today, they said I have been charged like this because I didn't cancel the old tarrif before taking a new one. Is that true? Does the phone tariff not cancel itself of expire after its contact finished? What should I do which money that they have taken out from my account? I have been charged big bill on this.
Help please,
I am too skin to pay now.

When any contract passes the 12, 18 etc months period, it automatically becomes 30 day rolling contract until you give 30 days notice to cancel.
So think you should give them notice to cancel the old contract with 30 days notice. Once done, ask to speak to someone in complaints etc and maybe claw a little bit of your money back (but that will down to o2 goodwill to do that).0 -
99% of the time, a phone contract is for a minimum period (eg 12 or 18 months). It is NOT for a fixed period.
It is down to o2 as to whether they will reimburse you for the contract you have not been using - but they have no obligation to.0
