Just took the Platinum package and all that was included in that. Good luck and if you want give AN a call. Their price on the phone is the same as online, so you can go through it with a human who can answer questions and queries.Wormwood_Scrubs wrote:Thanks a lot everyone for your help. The airlinenetwork site produced a very good price with the price seeming to cover the general insurances as well. Was that the case with you The Saving Man?? or did you pay any other waivers??
I do understand though that I will have to pay $20 plus tax per day as I am under the age of 25 which is fine. There will be two of us so we arent really looking for a major upgrade.
Thanks again for your help everyone it is very appreciated.'Tis the time's plague, when madmen lead the blind0 -
No other costs apart from the under 25 charge which they took from the credit card over there and we got sat nav which was an extra cost.
Also we got a parking ticket because we didn't park in the direction the traffic flows so be careful :rolleyes:0 -

ouch - it is illegal also in the UK to park opposing oncoming traffic, but I believe only at night, which is just as well, given that traffic wardens don't need too much of an invitation!0 -
& some areas don't like you reversing into parking spot - usualy the ones where you don't need a numberplate on the front of the car. I don't know if it's ticketable though.
We also got a parking ticket (wrongly issued) in San Fran the night before we were coming home. Despite a few phonecals to the relevant people, the ticket has never been actioned for me to appeal against it.

It's a local byelaw that is supposed to stop runanway vehicles on the steep hills.
Just in case some numpty leaves the car in Neutral without setting the Ebrake (handbrake) on a slope.

In San Fransisco don't park in the "don't park here on (insert day) between the hours of (insert times) to enable street cleaning" areas as you'll get towed.
