Third party minefield
Morning.
Been on a basic payg for years now and quite fancy getting a decent phone so i'm thinking a contract may be the way to go.Read a few horror stories on here in the past about these 3rd party firms,i.e. dial-a-phone,mobiles.co.uk etc.
In your expert opinion, which is the best of these companies to use and are these cashback deals too good to be true? Or am i better off going straight to vodafone,t-mobile etc?
Cheers.

I always go to the network direct. After some shocking moments with CPW and the like never again! Who are you with at the mo and what type of phone are you after?0

I've dealt with most to the main "third party" companies and have not experienced any horror stories.
Those that have, tend to shout the loudest so seem to be in the majority, when in fact are not representative.
You must remember never to rely on a cashback deal from any firm in any industry. If you get the cashback all well and good, but don't put yourself in a position where you will be financially worse off if a cashback does not materialise.
Incidentally, you will hear the same "horror stories" about the customer services of the five main mobile networks, so going direct is no guarantee0
