Private Road Access Rights

    It would seem to be a private road with footpath access. I believe the road has to be closed one day a year to retain it's private status, so it could probably be challenged, but do you have the funds, the nerve and the time to challenge it - I doubt you do, for the sake of 15mins.
  • Some good advice on here and several of the options stated are indeed criminal offences. Obstruction of the highway and vehicle interference are two already stated but intead of trying to add conjecture when none of us know the full facts, I'll advise speaking to the local council rights of way officer. They normaly work in the parks and lands departments and I use them alot in different councils in my mountain biking passtime. They should sort it once and for all.
