in Water bills
Prior to moving from Northants, our water bill per yr via a meter, was about £261. Here in Dorset we have been presented with a bill (in advance) of about £500 per yr and I've made enquiries about a meter in the firm belief that it would prove to be the best bet. Would you agree?

Impossible to say, depends on the RV of the property vs your family size and pattern of usage.
If you're under SWW, their charges are among the highest in the country,No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I'm in Dorset and I pay at the moment £58 per month on a water meter - I'm in a 3 bed house, with 3 adults + 1 child and it was the worst thing I ever did when I had a water meter fitted

There are two of us and I have a medical condition (ileal conduit) which deems me urinary incontinent but it seems I have to be on benefit to qualify, which is a laugh really as with or without benefit, my condition is the same. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. If they run a watersure scheme it might be worth speaking to someone there, as it is normally in receipt of benefits or disabled ( if you have a letter from your Dr to state your condition etc it might be enough)
