Agent Has Not Removed Advertising

Hi there,
A couple of weeks ago, I got some help with drafting a letter to my agent advising I was moving elsewhere; thanks.
The thing is, the fourteen day cancelling period is up tomorrow and they still haven't taken the board down even though I asked them to.
My main problem is, should the board not be removed tomorrow, can the previous agent turn round and tell me it's my responsibility?
I'm in a first floor flat and the sign is placed on the first floor wall to the rear of the property where I have absolutely no chance of taking it down without paying someone to do so.
I'm a bit concerned now because I've signed a contract that starts the following day that gives my new agent sole selling rights; but this other "advertising" is making me nervous.
Am I being a drama queen?
Thanks in advance

Sorry - I'm confused. You're moving somewhere (from rental?) so your agent is advertising your current property to let, but you've asked them not to because....?0

I read it to be that the OP signed a contract with an agent to sell their house who put a for sale sign up, then subsequently sacked that agent and asked them to remove their for sale sign. The OP has now appointed another agent as "sole agent" but the first agent still has the for sale sign outside the house and is worred how that will affect the contract with the second agent since he has been appointed as "sole agent".0

Maybe you could ask new agent to take down old agents sign when they atre putting theirs up?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Don't forget, if the old agent's sign does attract a viewer, refer the old agent to the new agent, rather than getting caught...Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

It is possible that both agents use the same sign putting up company.
Our town has 1 company that does all the signage contracts, so he takes one down and puts the new one up at the same time.
Maybe this is the same case in your area?:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -

Sorry - re-read your post and although it's confusing think the guys above are right. The board belongs to the agent and he should remove. But as your 14 days is not up, he's still advertising. Who knows, he might sneek in a last minute buyer!!
If it's not down in the next 24/48 hours, ring him.0 -

Many long leases prohibit attaching such advertisements to the building, you may want to read your contract before you add another sign.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
I purchased my property six years ago through YOUR MOVE, I called them several times to remove their board...
but it's still in my garage today! If I use them in the future will I get a discount cos I've got my own board?

They're re-branding at the moment, so by the time you get a chance to use it, it'll be the wrong colour.....
Back to OP; if you're within notice period, contract is still in force, so agent within rights to still display board. If you can't reach it, they probably need their 'sign guy' to do so, and maybe a wee bit of leeway to accommodate the sign guy's schedule may be called for....0
