How old is the car and what value ?

A little bump will mean most R(over)'s are written off these days. Best place for them right enough.

    MOMENT :D
    year1999, comp. insure for £1200.
Shall buy back for peanuts if its cat D.
I'd rather prefer it repaired. Had it for 3 years without any major problrms........
Anyway, how long does it take for the insurance to come back?

    Not if you've exchanged details.

When I was rear ended, my spare tyre became wedged in its hole as the boot floor deformed slightly. Lift up your boot carpet and check for things like that.

That will be Rover and out. They never repair sheds of that value.

Hi, my car is written off cat C. Its currently held at a portsmouth garage.
What is the procedure to buy the salvage from insurance and how can it be put back on road?
    Thanks
