Minium income for contract?

Does anyone actually check income?
Other criteria are more pertinent for when they run a credit check - job status, time employed, electoral roll etc0 -
I've never seen income checked on a credit app.
As above, employment, time at address, on electoral roll, any blackmark's on credit file, payment status of any other agreements, etc. . .0 -
I was unemployed, at the address for 6 months, on the electoral register for a month, multiple black marks, multiple defaults and I still got a contract0

I was wondering as I am on a £35 per month contract with T-Mobile and I have gone from JSA to ALG (EMA for adults) and I am in education and was wondering if they will give me a new contract when my current one ends....0
-
If you've paid your existing contract without any defaults, and you stick with the same provider, then at upgrade time, you won't be required to be credit scored again.0

If I want to change my number, will they do it for me?
As I have a PAYG mobile sim and it somehow has become my main number even with the contract and so if I have the PAC will they use the PAYG number?...0 -
If the PAYG is on the same network as your contracted mobile, you might have a problem. In general you can usually only transfer your number in from another network.
So - if your PAYG is on the same network - get your PAC for this one, transfer it out to another PAYG on another network - then get your PAC again (as it's now on a diff. network) and transfer it back to your contract.
If it's on a diff. network already, then you shouldn't really have an issue.0 -
I managed to get contracts before while I was a student and wasn't earning anything at the time. My first contract required a deposit which was later refunded, but every subsequent one was fine.0

My contract says that it fully ends 8th May but it says I can upgrade at the 8th April.
Does that mean I can get a new phone and new contract on the 8th April and not have to wait till 8th May?...0 -

It does, but you'll usually get a better offer when you're out of contract. And they add the months remaining to the end of your new one, so if you took out an 18 month contract with 3 months remaining on your old one the new one would run 21 months...0
