I heard KR. Basically the radio had been in touch with 'the company', who said they'd sent a letter to KR in July with a form to give them details to track the parcel (IIRC). KR said she hadn't received anything from them. The radio also said that they'd found out that KR had been sending her letters to the wrong address (which was the address Freemans customer services had given her at the start). They suggested KR send future correspondence to the correct address they'd been given. They were hopeful it'd be sorted out quickly once she was talking to the right people.
They didn't get into the legal threats Freemans was sending to KR, or even the fact they were charging her for the 'missing' item at all (though that might've been covered on Friday which I missed).
Have I missed anything KR?0 -

No you havent! Thanks hun!
UPDATE!
Sent me letter 7 Aug - no answer! Had the Debt agency ring for an update!
I almost bit his head off!!! Didnt mean to but i told him that Freemans should NEVEr have sent this to them, knowing there was a problem. He agreed. Is going to hold on for the moment until we hear from Freemans.
So...I rang Freemans! I got another helpful bunny! She couldnt believe that I had been passed about "like a doll". Apparently, I should have actually wrote to Parcelnet, as they collected it, and were the last to have it. She rang me back with the address and put a note on the account. freemans CAN credit this, but it needs to be passed back FROM the Agency TO freemans. Then they can easily credit it.
So, I have wrote to Parcelnet, asking for proof they returned to Freemans, as they were the last to have this. Also told them I want to claim for this
beat That Parcelnet!!!!0 -

how did I sound??? :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
More confident than I'd be speaking on the radioKangol_Rat wrote:how did I sound??? :rotfl: :rotfl:
Hmmm, still think it should be them who chases ParcelNet as you don't have a contract with them - Freemans employed them to pick up the parcel, not you. But now you've got a sympathetic ear you might as well play their game for now. Glad you're getting somewhere.Kangol_Rat wrote:So, I have wrote to Parcelnet, asking for proof they returned to Freemans, as they were the last to have this. Also told them I want to claim for this0
