we're off to see our (hopefully) new band tonight, if they're no good, I don't know what we'll do!! I'm seeing the make up girl on Saturday and I've got a "family" hen day tomorrow and hen doo on Saturday night, it's never ending fun at the moment!!

Well I now only have 2 days to go!

Went to the reception venue last night and dropped off all the bits, they've also agreed that we can watch the Grand National!! TV is in the bar area though so not too sure how it will work out, might get OH to pop in on Friday evening and have a word with them about it!

So today I have nothing "wedding related" to do apart from get through my ironing pile and pack! Oh and maybe work on a little tan on my shoulders Tomorrow I have a busy day, OH is off work, so he will stay here with DD2 while I take the other 2 to school, then to have my eyebrows waxed, then finish packing, collect DS at 12, DD1 at 1.05. Pick up the flowers and drive to Oxford. Then nails done at 3 with SIL2B, wedding rehearsal at 6 and time to say goodbye to OH after that!!

Nerves not set in yet, but then neither has excitement lol it just doesn't seem real yet!!

Hi! Please can I join?

I'm getting married on the 28th. We only decided on Wednesday! :eek: We're giving notice, paying the registrar fees (two seperate town halls) and booking the venue tomorrow. Invitations are nearly done, she's just waiting for me to confirm the wording. I've ordered a dress from BHS, which is coming today. My OH is sorting his suit out tonight with his mum and best man. I'm making a cupcake tower (I have my own business selling cakes so at least I don't have to pay for that!)

My best friend's OH drives a black cab so hopefully we'll be using that as the wedding car, plus they're going to see if they can get another one so we've got two which would be good.

We're getting married at 3.45pm at the registry office, then having an evening reception starting at about 7. In between there will be photos and drinks, there's a play area at the venue so that should keep the kids entertained.

Everybody said I was crazy for wanting to get married in just over 3 weeks but it's going quite well really. I'll be glad when everything important is booked tomorrow.

i booked and started organising mine in january so have only had 3 months, which to be honest, i've loved it being that short! makes you decide on things quicker as you dont have time!

oh my goodness, after reading everyones posts my heart is going ten to the dozen for you all lol. I hope you all have wonderful wedding days and i cant wait to see some pictures. Hayley11 - all i can say is wow!!!! haha your very brave to organise it all in 3 weeks. I hope you have a wonderful day also!!

2 weeks on Saturday for myself and hubby 2 be - 10 more working shifts to do. Cant wait!

I'm loving organising it all at such short notice actually! I'm finding that i'm way more excited (was originally getting married next June and didn't have much enthusiasm for it to be honest with it being so far away!) and like you say, you make decisions quicker! I've found a registrar that can fit us in, a venue, bought a dress, ordered the rings, ordered invitations, booked a photographer, my spray tan and hairdresser in two days.
