Iam still here and feeling a bit shocked actually. Her poor fiance and family and poor poor her. My heart goes out to them and certainly puts everything into perspective.

Was having a bit of a mare with a BM but after reading that it sooooo doesn't matter.

Hi Ladies,
I've decided we've got to keep our spirits up. It is so, so sad about the Mrs C, but she wouldn't want us to stop being happy about our weddings. So, whilst I know we're all thinking about her and feeling very sad, we are going to keep going and thinking about our special days.
So, RSVP's I have recently recieved: A jigsaw, a dog collar with engraved dog tag, a pair of rubber gloves and a peg bag! Oh, and a jar full of chocolates, which I've told the H2b (who has been in France for the past 2 weeks) that it is just an empty jar, as I've eaten all the choccies..oops!

Magicboo, can I just say that you have the coolest friends! Most of mine rsvped by facebook....

I know you asked them to be creative but I'm just amazed at just how well they've lived up to the challenge!!

They are pretty cool, I'm so pleased they've taken up the challenge...the ones that have replied, that is!
We're going to make a wall of RSVPs and give out prizes at the reception! Goodness knows how we're going to pick the best though!

Im debating what to do about guestbook. The more I look at my attemt the more ameteurish it looks. Want something a bit 'different' though. Ideas?

I liked the pics from your guestbook that you posted MM2B! Maybe show it to someone else and get a non wedding-brain opinion? I'm still trying to convince my h2b to not have a guestbook and have chalkboards and a camera instead. Then will get photos of people actually holding their messages.. He's well not convinced though!

Lol Magicboo you do have the most creative friends and think most people would be jealous by your cool inventive friends :-) and well done for putting thread back on track. After the disaster this day has been tonight has been fab. Spent the night with two great girl
Friends and went through make up and hair ideas for big day. Meanwhile one of my friends went into labour, only early labour !!! So a bit dramatic but fab!!!

MM2b-I know what you mean about the guest book, mine is looking decidedly home made at the moment. I think I'll spend some time on it at the weekend to try and make it look a bit more professional. I love your idea though, Insomniac, I think it would be really cool! If I can't make this guest book thing work, I might well steal it!!
Oh, what would I do without this board to steal everyones ideas from?! :rotfl:

Meeting photographer for the first time this afternoon, finalising food details with the venue, dress fitting tomorrow and hen-do next weekend! Is anyone else amazed at how close we are now? I'm soooo looking forward to the Easter weekend too - I'll be off work from then till after the honeymoon! yay Sending everyone happy thoughts
