Becky-never ever occured to me that it was you-frankly, I think these trolls target people who they can see are 'easy' targets (ie people that wouldnt say boo to a goose) and then do strange and horrible things to upset them-sad but true.

Tonight, kids wanted to play outside after I picked them up from the childminder and DS asked if he could ride on his bike so I got it out for him...

(I like on a v quiet cul-de-sac)

Anyhoo-not 10 mins later as I am chaging out of my interview suit, DD comes in and says DS is hurt so I say 'hang on, I'm coming now....'

As I walk downstairs, there is a lady in my porch asking if I am J's Mom as THEY HAVE JUST HIT HIM WITH THEIR CAR! !!!!!!! Cue me shrieking and running out to find DS lying in the middle of the road (No blood, coherent and not crying-so I calm down quickly) and it transpires they were driving up the road SLOWLY and could see DS going hell bent for leather towards them, so they stopped and he swerved but didnt quite miss them...and lands SPLAT on the ground...

The WHOLE street is out at this point, parent, kids all gawping at my DS as he lies prone on the floor. I can tell he is ok, get him inside (whilst stupid drunken [EMAIL="tw@tty"]tw@tty[/EMAIL] neighbour makes comments about my DS always running onto the road etc) and DS then collapses in floods of tears because HE KNOWS HE IS IN DEEP CACK.

Bloody hell, have finally stopped shaking...he is fine btw, just a very VERY slight graze on his hip

DO NOT FEEL GUILTY!!!! YOU ARE AN AWESOME MOM. THESE THINGS HAPPEN. And hopefully he will have learned a wee lesson without getting badly hurt...
