Evening everyone...........Ive been spending:o
OH and I have been invited to a wedding evening do on Saturday night and seeing as though we feel like we need some couple time we have decided to spend the night in the wedding hotel (it costs £60 including breakfast for us both)
Our boys are 14 and 16 (15 and 17 in Aug) and they both say that they will be OK on their own to leave for 1 night.
Now then..........
They are both very sensible and I have no doubt that they will be just sitting playing computer games all evening but I am still worried about leaving them.......OH says I am being stupid:(
We have fantastic neighbours who would be there in a second if anything was to happen.
Waddayathink???But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I think they should be allowed to stay home alone. If you show you trust them they'll feel really grown up;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Lou I am sure they will be absolutely fine. Why don't you arrange to call them at a certain time, arrange for neighbours to pop around say 9pm just before bed and make sure they have neighbours number etc.
I remember having a 16th birthday party at my house and my parents let me and friends stay on our own....I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
