Funny you say that Fay - I was thinking the same at the weekend when I was away with friends. I think they do probably earn more than I do (so maybe they've got money to burn?!) but they waste so much and don't seem to mind and there was so much chat about designer this and designer that. Ah well, what can you do?!

Yeah its wierd isn't it - my friends have a baby - and the amount of baby related full price/branded/etc stuff the wee mite gets is frightening - and the amount of money folks spend on *stuff* - its scary. And I think they don't earn much - but it seems like you say that they've just got cash to chuck away

Funny though being in OH house - its clearly rubbing off - first thing he did was show me his 'non posh' tinned tomatoes, his BOGOff food,,,,,,,his portions of leftovers in the freezer (he's very proud of a few of the changes he's made) and then when I spotted the dishwasher posh branded tablets in the utility room - he was jumping in and saying don't worry I didn't buy them:rotfl:

Like you say though what can you do? Mostly they think I am nuts - then again - most folks do - but we're the ones paying things off eh? :D
