Dodgy!!!

Ok,please tell me this is as dodgy as I believe!

Sold an item for £210 + £7 delivery to a new ebayer tonight in the UK.

No payment yet registering on ebay.

Just received an email apparently from paypal to say she has paid £240 (!!!!!!!) and to send the item to the verified address in Nigeria :rotfl:

Paypal have received the payment as approved but it will remain pending until I have emailed them the tracking number for the item once posted.

Strange that.!!!!!! all showing in my paypal account..not even pending:rotfl:

!!!!ing !!!!!

Very dodgy!! Don't send anything to nigeria!! Refund the money as this is one of the biggest scams on ebay. Check on goofbay to see what else they have bought, it will be mainly high price goods lots of similar items. Report it to ebay and you will get your fvf's back. Soolin can tell you more, she's ace with eBay stuff.
You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.

There is nothing to refund. There is nothing showing in my paypal and no payment as showing on ebay.:rotfl:

The email is a scam pretending payment has been made as far as I can tell.

Just emailed paypal and will contact ebay now.

    Relisted already:D

    Final Value Fees.
What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.

Are you sure that they are your buyer? The scam used to be to send second chance offers but if its the same idea they (I won't post what it is for obvious reasons) can email you to say you have payment and to send the item, this could be nothing to do with the buyer of your item, who may even be genuine. Obviously I don't know the details so be cautious but worth bearing in mind.

The person named as paying on the spoof paypal email has the same name as the ebay buyer.Whom, incidently, joined ebay tonight and 'bought' my phone and has her address listed as a college...
