Can you leave aol but keep aol email address

maybe complicated !! .. but people in Hull area may be able to help.

I am in outskirts of hull .. where i've got a Bt landline ( £11'ish).. and aol broadband (£9.99).

Because of distance / llu etc ... only get 1.4 mpbs speed at best on the aol broadband . have checked samknows.co etc and there's no other opportunities to get faster speed other than ....

go back to Kingston (who i was with some years ago) .

They have line rental at about £11.. and broadband .. at about £16 ish .. but it is up to 8mbps... my neighbour gets minimum 6mbps .

ok so little bit more money ... but only way to get the speed .

I'm presuming (?) that time is not going to change anything at the exchange as far as aol speeds are concerned .

My question is .......
i must keep my aol email address ...hundreds of people have it , personal & business etc.

Can i "leave aol" ..... but keep my aol email address ? and use their email system .. is there any charge ? .. is it likely to change eg they stop allowing etc. ?

Sure i've read something along these lines but can't find .. hence why i'm asking now .
thanks

I left AOL 17 months ago and my AOL email account is still operational even though I haven't used it since. So yes. And they don't charge. Why should they? There are absolutely zillions of adverts on there.
