Shill bidding action plan

I like the camaradery (I think I've spelt it right!) in this Forum, especially this one - so much better that a previous shill bidding thread!
I think that we should create a new thread which ebayers can post items which they believe have shill bids on, others can then check and then action can be taken by someone else.

If they are serial shill bidders then they can be reported. If it's a one off or just not enough evidence to report them, then they can be politely informed in effect, they stop it or be reported.

There are new threads each day on the topic and everyone here is of a very similar opinion of it so lets do somethig about it!

It's not a bad idea.

As you know although I don't agree with shilling, I don't see it as the worst ebay crime.

Saving people from being stung by buying pirated stuff would be a really worthwhile exercise because I know, from both here and on other forums where it's discussed, people get away with it for a long time, simply because their victims won't act for fear of a neg.

I must admit that the excess p&p suggestion was a bit tongue in cheek, although it would be nice if fleabay would stop the abuses from foreign sellers so that indiginous ones could operate on a level playing field. If people kept complaining, they might clean up their act.

I was going to start my own thread, then found this ticks all the boxes.

I am certain that these 2 id's are being used by the same guy - just after other opinions :
1daz2 and dickson2412

1daz 2 has already won his own car, and a tomtom unit, by trying to bid up using dickson2412.

also done a few bids to find out highest bid, then retracted his.

one feedback left 20 mins after auction ended - I messaged him about all this and he got all defensive and aggressive. I reported him to ebay and told him that.

went along the lines of, 'you do know that shill bidding is illegal on ebay? ie ebay user id *********. Just letting you know because if someone reports you they will shut you down because it is very blatent.'
