Country Living magazine has the usual “lucky number on the front cover” for the May issue.

To receive a free front cover (NPN option), send a SAE to:

    Country Living May
    P.O Box 10220
    Sutton Coldfield
    B76 1ZH.

To receive a list of winning numbers by post, send a SAE for each prize line
(I send the two SAE's in one envelope to them and always get both lists sent), to:

    Country Living May Inkjet
    P.O Box 10220
    Sutton Coldfield
    B76 1ZH.

If you do not wish to receive offers from them or third parties,
put 'No Offers' in the top left corner of your envelope.

    [STRIKE]
I’ve sent off for the list of winning numbers and will post them as soon as they arrive.
    [/STRIKE]

    Winning numbers arrived today:

    The prizes are:

If you have a winning number, take a photocopy of the front cover of your May issue of Country Living magazine
    (keep the original safe).

Send the copy with a covering letter by recorded delivery to

I couldn't find anything but took the clue "Which spy has come in from the cold" and could only come up with John Le Carre which is why I put question marks after it. I also added that I hadn't found any evidence so people could make up their own mind and either use it or look for another answer. HTH :)
