Hi
just got this Lg pop mobile phone with VM on a 18 month contract.
Costs £10 month, you get
2 months free
100 mins to + any land line or mobile
100 texts
100 mins to any virgin mobile
£25 Voucher to spend at Top shop, Burton etc

Dont seem great at 1st but from April VM say that you can call
any Virgin mobile for free from your land line, so thats really why we got it .

When i checked my account on-line,it said i got something extra
when i looked it said that i now get 3k mins to any Virgin mobile
not sure how long i will be getting that for,but for now at £10 a month
it looks a very good deal. If you take away the cost of the phone say
£80,Voucher £25, + the 2 months free works out to £55 for the calls
over 18 months.

The phone is also very good too and came free with
the contract. Not sure if you would get the same deal if you are not a VM
Customer, but so far very happy with this.
Hope this helps
Lee

The phone is an updated version of the Lg cookie and probably still as useless.
Better deals out there but mostly with cashbacks and probably not free virgin to virgin calls (but then you would only need that if you knew someone else on virgin).
And is there not something like virgin charging by the minute even if the call lasts for a fraction of a minute.

At present I go for the cheapest phones.
Got Lg Cookie from April 2009 (12 month contract) - hate the phone and replaced it with a Nokia 1208 (go figure, its much better for texting). Use the Nokia now - its just simple basic, don't need anything fancy.

Also got a contract in my name for someone else with Nokia 2323 (again better for texting).

And recently signed up to Samsung Tocco Lite (another cheap deal) but aint even bothering using the phone till the other contract ends in April.

My ideal phone to get at the present moment in time would the sony w995.

Depends on your needs, 100 mins and texts would be useless to me and I'm not sure if I know anyone on Virgin.
But if you're happy with deal, it's all good.

Yes 100 mins + 100 texts is no good to me either, but free calls from the land line to the mobile is great, + the 3000 mins to any Virgin mobile is good for us
I just think its a good deal for £10 a month, i was with 3 until last month, who were very good on price, but really needed to get on the Virgin network
