Mums housing benefit and private landlord

Well I bit the bullet, as the site said that members get an average of 78 matches, so thought it was worth a try, there could be a flat or bungalow just waiting for her.......as soon as I paid, it advised that there are no matches:(, ah well, you win some you loose some, worth a try though!:beer:

Hi, Have you thought about putting an advert into your local paper. If you have a local paper with property guide even better.

Pay for an advert asking if anyone wants to relocate to your mothers area under a council exchange.

If someone is looking to relocate due to job etc she may get lucky this way.

By putting it into your local paper it will get to a wider audience capturing people who may not be internet savvy.
Edited to say make sure you do a good write up of the positives associated with where your mum lives and what is available locally just as if you were selling it.

Our local housing offices used to have folders you could look at for people wanting to swap; perhaps yours does?
