Getting Buyers to Leave Feedback
Comments

You should not leave feedback for them until they leave yours.
I agree, If they expect feedback they should also provide feedback!Peter_Lanky wrote: »This annoys me intensely. If I have paid, I expect feedback
I have sold and i expect feedback, and just because you paid does not mean you deserve feedback! If you walked into a sweetshop and threw your money on the counter and say where is my f***ing boiled sweet i paid for well that does not make you a good customer or a very nice person for that matter.0 -

These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.0 -

I may leave it when I'm ready, but if you email asking for it, or suggest I leave it on a packing note, or ask me to on your dispatch email, I am likely to be hacked off. I know how ebay works, thanks.
So my advice is just leave it, and if it happens, it happens.
I hate any mentions of feedback when I'm buying, just pack the thing, send it, and then I'll see if I can be bothered to leave feedback.
I don't give a toss if they've left me feedback, and too much mentioning of it really makes me think there is going to be a problem.
I'd also like to point out that we only get about 1/3 of feedback left for us, so 11 out of 21 isn't that bad OP.This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

What do you mean?
My 100% feedback of 250 positives are from buying and selling, i would guess 50% buying and 50% selling.
Just because i have paid for an item does not mean my responsabilities as a buyer end there, if an item turned up and i was happy with it then i would leave feedback regardless who does so first! If i had an issue i would contact the seller first and try and resolve things direct and whatever the result i would remain polite and leave the appropriate.0 -

i always forget to leave feedbackReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

Co-incidentally just came across this (not left for me)
I hope you were happy with your jigsaw, can I have your feedback too Pls?
What not to do on ebay lesson #503.
They didn't get left any feedback :rotfl:This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
My feedback goes back about 4 years, 50/50 bought and sold, all good, 100% and DSRs great..
Not everyone has left feedback and sometimes that works in my favour, I don't think many buyers hesitate to leave bad feedback where deserved. I don't buy to intentionally resell, but sometimes I then buy an upgraded or better condition model and want to sell off the earlier one. No feedback has worked in my favour for those items.
I recently opened a second account to separate buying and selling, not too sure whether it will be of benefit but at least I have the option.
Keeping feedback private? I realised a little while ago that sometimes people prefer to keep information about what they bought and how much they paid for it between them and the seller. It doesn't have to have sinister connotations.0 -
It is quite frustrating when buyers don't leave feedback. I sold some items and sent them off 2 weeks ago, but no feedback. I want to withdraw my money from Paypal, but I know as soon as I do it that some charlie will message me to say "Where's my stuff", and then I would have to move money back to Paypal, which is the world's slowest known process. What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.

Agreed, why does it take so long??
Next time i need to tranfer money from my bank to paypal i might just strap the money to a snails back up here in lancashire and give the little fella a map and paypals office adress down in surrey, i'm sure he'll get there quicker.0
