Getting Buyers to Leave Feedback

Hello,
I am fairly new to E-Bay, and have started off selling mostly Toys that my Son no longer plays with, and a few items of clothing.
The are all in good condition, I have been honest with my listings letting buyers know if there are a few scratches where the toys have been played with etc...
I have sold 21 items, I have been posting them the day after payment has been received, or the same day in some cases.
I have e-mailed Buyers once they have paid, to thank them for payment, let them know when I am posting, and to e-mail me if they have any further questions.
However, I only have 11 people who have left me feedback, it is all very good, great item, great comms, fast posting etc...
I am really trying my hardest to build my feedback up, has anyone got any tips on getting more feedback.
I have been leaving buyers feedback as soon as they have made payment.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

I would enclose a note on the packing slip asking when they are happy to leave you feedback and if they have any problems to contact you.
Apart from that don't try and chase feedback, that will annoy some folk. Also is some are like me you might wait a month before I can be bothered leaving it. So it will come.0 -
Thanks for that, I'd didn't really want to chase it, as I know people are busy.
Hopefully I'll sell a few more things this week, and my feedback will go up.

Yeah, I do that as well. Every now and again I get a pang of guilt and do about 50 feedbacks at once.As of 24/11/2020

I feel the same..selling small things to build some feedback, but less than half actually do.. i always leave feedback, but dont chase it..they may leave a neg and get annoyed
you just have to live with it, or mention that you hope they received the item, feedback has been left, please do the same0 -

You should not leave feedback for them until they leave yours. This also lets you know they have received the item.0 -

There is no 'rule' as to when to leave feedback. I'm a business seller and always leave feedback as soon as they have paid as the buyer as kept their side of the 'bargain' by paying promptly. If a buyer takes a while to pay and I have to chase payment I may wait until they leave feedback if I think they may be a 'problem buyer'.

To the OP. Do you send one of the standard emails when you are dispatching? I have a message in mine saying something along the lines of "When you have received the item and it is to your satisfaction, please leave feedback. I have already left feedback for you". Other than that, there is little more you can do.What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.0 -
I have been using Ebay since it started , you have had a lot of good advice I would just add all people are different, just be nice the way you deal with them and you will normally find on avergage you will have a good experience.0

If I were your buyer, just leave me be!
I may leave it when I'm ready, but if you email asking for it, or suggest I leave it on a packing note, or ask me to on your dispatch email, I am likely to be hacked off. I know how ebay works, thanks.
So my advice is just leave it, and if it happens, it happens.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
