    Evening all

Top news about the house offer Sandy
Carol - top news on the internship!
Greenbee - hugs again. The email you sent - he probably needs to think a bit before replying or, he could just have a life and be busy and not checked emails yet!

Well, my talk for tomorrow evening has been practised with the projector, cue cards written, laser pen found (to point things out) so I'm ready to roll. I'm really tired tonight though. I think pushing the old boy round in his wheelchair and getting him in and out of car and house in one piece and just the sort of shock of realising he's so frail has taken a lot out of me. I shall have an early night I think.

I agree that teenagers are dreadful

In defence of teens, most of them are great, most of the time :D I accept that yours has fallen well below the standard today :(

DH will be back from taking the small ones to Scouts soon, so we're going to flop in front of a recording from last night (Jobless, so work-related for me :p )

See you all bright and early tomorrow :T

Hi, have done the minimal today....went shopping this morning(bought myself a new floor lamp in argos for £15....wanted it for ages...but now it's a lot cheaper!!!
Went to work, had some food, done some dishes, school run, then met up with a friend I see very rarely as she moved to America after uni and is home very rarely. It was lovely to see her, she has a 5 yr old so we went to a local play center.

Anyway, hugs to all those with child issues.....gets to me that we do so much for them and they don't appreciate an ounze of it!!!!!!!

Hugs to all others in need and all who just want one. Congrats to those with successes too xx

    Evening.

Car packed as doing an exhitibtion tomorrow in London.

Done no flying, but neighbour from popped round to tell me they are cutting a tree down next week, which has pleased me, as it shadows the garden.

    Hugs xxxxx

Evening all, you've been very entertaining today, particularly the 'man chats':rotfl:, talk of things past and exciting futures. Think spring must definitely be in the air because folks seem to be generally a little brighter, maybe we left the doldrums in Feb where they belong, let’s hope so :D

Thanks very much for the kind thoughts for DS2. The Nurse Practitioner rang me back and I took him in complete with pee sample but she had decided what was wrong straight away. Ear infection, both ears (apparently one of them is a good 'teaching ear'), tonsillitis and swollen glands. No wonder the poor little thing couldn't fight off the fever. She prescribed penicillin and as he has never had antibiotics before (DD made it to 10 before she succumbed) I'm hoping they will start working quickly. So he's home for the rest of the week.

Consequently not much flying but S&S everywhere and because it is generally much better thanks to you flyladies, it won't get so bad hopefully. I have limited spoons too and really liked the analogy, thanks very much, that's why I like flylady so much because you can plan better.

Done no flying as both myself and hubby caught DD1's horrendous sickness virus yesterday. Both of us spent the day and night in bed, basically passing in and out of consciousness, it was horrible, gruelling and painful, everywhere hurt...a lot.

Luckily today we appear to be over the worst, although hubby is still being sick. Both of us ate precisely nothing yesterday and only managed a few sips of water, so we need to build our selves back up.

I managed to get a dw load in, wm and hung some washing out today late afternoon.

Then she warned me about her neighbour who keeps knocking on her door with the shakes asking for wine and told me that when she refuses that she's jumping in her car and driving whilst well over the limit:eek:. It puts a totally different light on the kids football on the green as they spill into the road on a regular basis. Most people know the kids are about and take great care but a drunk driver is a worry we can do without.
If you or your neighbour know she is drunk and you see her driving, please please report her. You would never live with yourselves if she killed someone while out and you knew she had gone out drunk. On a TV thing yesterday where they follow the police iwht cameras, they received a report of someone doing drugs in a car and went off to find the person, so they will take you seriously.

Love and hugs Lady Liberty and Diva and Ishtar

Thifty hope you are feeling more positive about your assessment now

Soappie how lovely of you to pick up the elderly gentlemen for the meeting, he must have really enjoyed being able to contribute

Toots, I’m glad your niece has done so well in her competitions

Hugs Greenbee, hope you can reconcile things with your friends you saw at the reunion

LW thanks for the spoons thing, I will show it to my Mum as she might find it helpful

Emma, well done on having your chat with DS, it’s so important for parents to have these conversations with their children and not just leave it to school or other children to tell them things

Macpep well done on the weight loss!

Carol glad about Paris, that sounds fab!

Hex, oh dear sounds like you are having similar probs to Pigpen with the children. Hope you can get the stealing and lies sorted out

Hugs Triker and co and Lemanie’s DS

Thanks everyone for your comments on sounding brighter, I do feel brighter. I feel so much better about myself since starting this business, and it’s really helped to lift the depression which is, in turn, helping me to tackle the agoraphobia. Dealing with that by going out more is, in turn, helping the depression! So it’s all good! All I need to do now is keep up going out and try to work out how to make some money from my business! LOL!

DH phoned the lady about the ad hoc van driving and he’s going over there tomorrow to be “shown the ropes” – he says it sounds quite good. It involves delivering stuff to various parts of the country for a plastics company, which is right up his street. He would be a stand by for the person who does it normally, but hopefully it will work out that he gets enough work, and it would be great for him to have some work in the winter.

Flying this evening will be putting away clean washing. I've also put the WM through a cleaning cycle. Neeed to put some clothes away like jumpers which are lying around.

DH is watching football  Why is it on so MUCH?
