    Morning all

Not so much sunshine today but hey, we've had two good days so can't grumble.

Have a meeting here this afternoon and tonight I must do a run through of my speech for Thursday. DD booked me for Saturday afternoon. She and DS want to take me to afternoon tea for mother's day but not ON mother's day because it'll be too busy. I'm looking forward to it. They've chosen a fairly new venue which I've not been to before who do a proper tea with sandwiches, cakes and even champagne!

I feel as if I do the same thing everyday just to keep it looking marginally better than a bombsite and never get to an unending list of other things that I want to do.I'm on mat leave at the moment and so feel if I cant crack it now it will never happen and the four of us will be destined to live in chaos

Well that would be because it is the 9th of March - it will be raining later - it always rains on my birthday!!

DD has grumpily gone to College as she had an injection yesterday and claims to feel wretched. I am planning to carying on pottering although I have a lot more pain than yesterday so will post my list later.

Poor Pigpen - this is such a horrid thing to happen. I hope that you manage to get him sorted out.

methekidsandthecat - re sunshine - me too!

And many thanks to everyone who took the time and trouble to wish me a happy birthday yesterday.

I had a good day and OH and DD2 and I went out for tea at a local pub which was scrummy!

By 9.30 I was pooped so as hubby was watching a programme about how an album was produced I hit the sack with one of my pressies - Murder at the Vicarage - a radio play on CD - bliss!

    Happy birthday methekidsandthecat.

I have got the first lot of blinds in the washing machine.I've never washed them before but the ones in the computer room are broken anyway so we never really close them so I'm using them as a trial run.
After today I have to work full time for three weeks so not sure how much flying will be getting done so I'm going to do as much as I can today in advance.
    Have a lovely day.
