I'm at home for the majority of this week and start of next week - or rather should I say I am not working for the majority of this week and M&T of next week. Have managed to fill up the time with lots of appointments/jobs that need doing (eg MOT car). However I am going to try to fly all week and see how many stars I can get.

    This morning so far
    WM x2
    TDx1
    DWx1
    filled airing cupboard
sorted laundry that needs ironing - how did I manage to get such a high mount washmore - and still more to come!
    phonecalls x2
sent 2 work emails - yes I know I'm on holiday but when you can accesss emails from home there is the temptation to try to keep on top of work!
decluttered a cup of coffee whilst catching up on thread....

now to attack the Living Room.... see you later!

ETA: it is so encouraging to actually write down what I have done and realise I haven't frittered the morning away.

A very BIG thankyou to all for the ongoing encouragement of being willing to share those things that are difficult - it is just so helpful to know I am not the only one struggling with ... ironing/cleaning/tidying/clutter/mess/tiredness... the list could go on and on ... but I/we will survive and beat those things that are defeating us... and will end up with a beautifully clean, clutter free, tidy home.

I'm in, thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for all your hard work

I had a headache all weekend, it had gone this morning but has just come back  I've opened the window and will go and have a soak in the tub in a minute to see if that helps. It's my neck and shoulders, yesterday my neck was so stiff it crackled when i moved and had shooting pains. Not so stiff today just painful. THe bath might help.

I've not read the end of last weeks thread, I'm really sorry and hope I haven't missed anything important.

Embb thanks, I’m so happy I’ve lost some weight! Hope your cold gets better soon

    Hugs Fedup

Grateful I hope your back is better soon

Kazw I hope your shoulder is better soon

    Hugs Poohbear

Hugs MOJ2 and Choccybix, thinking of you xx

Carol, lovely to see you back

    Welcome newbies

DH and I had a big tidy in the LR, as most of hte keep pile was still there from our bedroom declutter. We've hoovered and cleaned too and it looks absolutely wonderful in here! DH kept commenting on it last night and he's not normally houseproud! We had a couple of people over yesterday afternoon and evening so we were glad to show off our lovely home!

I'm planning to clean the bathroom and do some shredding today if this blinking headache will let me.

Totally off topic, but does anyone else wonder who Cheryl Cole is thinking of when she's in that advert and says: "Weak? Limp? Lifeless?" :rotfl:
