MinniMe and MrsInvisible - Feeling much the same myself! I was really looking forward to clearing the VCC this month and getting a transfer deal for the other Halifax card but a c'ck up on the tax rebate and a large dentist bill have put paid to that! :(. All I can do is carry on until it gets better, and it will. It already has. My debt has decreased by about 6k GBP since I started in June last year! That's something to be positive about. All the same, it's gonna be a stretch until payday!

Thrifty - I think there is a thread all about teeth and dentists etc on the health boards. There are even some dentists on there who should be able to tell you whether or not the kits are effective.

I think I might have to join in the fun here too! I could do with making a PaD really, as making one a month is just demotivating for the month! I will stop back later after I've made a donation.
I have the option to pay £240 in a few months time to have them bleached if I want (and if i'm still not smoking!), but I might try and see how white I can get them myself in the meantime using toothpaste and kits, etc. If anyone has any recommendations for stuff that works, I'd be much obliged :)

I've heard good things about crest whitening strips, and I use Sensodine Gentle Whitening tooth paste, which seems to have worked really well on maintaining my white teeth :D

Yep they are a tad pricey, but then I needed to get some footwear to walk in anyway. I will certainly let you know how I get on. So far I think my butt cheeks are more sore than usual, so that's a good start (not often you can say that ;) :rotfl:) A colleague of mine also bought a pair as she's pregnant and been told she can't run, and she says she's aching today from wearing them all yesterday afternoon and her walk to the train station this morning. But who knows..only time will tell *insert spooky music here*
