Hi all, another £1 to Barclaycard today.

Still heard nothing back from interview last week and feeling a bit down about it as thought it had went well. :( Mind you, it took them 3 months to even offer me an interview after I applied for the job.

  • No pads again for me at the moment, I've been a bad girl and used some of my deposit money to go out for dinner on saturday night and for a few drinks last night. The dinner was with a couple of friends I don't see very often, so it had to be done and last night was a re-launch of 'crew night' that a couple of guys from work were doing so we went to offer our support... I probably didn't need to drink quite so much but hey ho! Probably no pads this month either really, trying to get everything sorted for the flat and havent been working that much so pay wasnt brilliant. Booked the van yesterday morning, and just agreed with the letting agent to go sign the contract at 9.30am so we can get cleaning before we move everything.:j

Been really rubbish with reading threads and properly catching up so hope everyone is ok and things are going a bit better than the last few weeks :)

Whats wrong with work related bonus's Angelic? and why will it be a struggle?? is it to do with tax credits?

I didn't want to go into too much detail incase I was branded a scrounger but basically I'll be getting a bonus from work (1st pay out will be in August) and although it's not much compared to some people's bonus', it'll put us just above the 'breadline' so we won't get as much TC now and my exemption certificate will be invalid...but the bonus' will be less than the TC so I'm going to end up losing money instead of gaining more IYSWIM.

I know I should be feeding my own family and blah blah blah but all my plans for debt-freeness were based around my weekly intake of TC so now we're going to be in a bit of a mess.
