pad today of £500 to loan thanks its coming down at last.0
-
Thanks Euro.
I really don't know what it is, have been in my job 6 years, on electoral role, debt ratio to income is probably 1/3rd ish. I have a good income. Only think I can think of is that I move quiet often, need to for work, so probably has had an effect
Thanks though hun.
Minnime, I applied for a Santander card yesterday and was declined in similar circumstances. My outstanding debt is about 3.5k including the remainder of my loan on an annual salary of 25k, I'm on the electoral roll and have 'green' credit files with all the main agencies. I don't move around though, have lived at this address 4 years now and before that was at my parents for 16 years. Whilst at uni I had mail delivered home so no linked addresses. Over the last year and a half or so (spread out, naturally! :money:) I have applied for a few 0% blance transfer cards and been declined for all of them.
I think it's just a sign of the times - the card I am currently paying off was given to me as an 18 year old student with no income to speak of, as part of my student account package! (Supposedly to help mne manage my money - that went well:rotfl:)
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

It may also be connected to how much of your credit you're actually using. If your available credit is £3000 and you're using £2900 of it, they look unfavourably on itMortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0 -
