i understand but i have to disagree slightly, when you mention someone on £26k a year may need help, do you mean one person or a joint wage as when the national minimum wage comes in at £12,410 and people manage on that then another £14k is a big lot of extra money compared to some, this is not a personal dig at anyone by the way i just feel, ive managed for many years on the national minimum wage or just above and with budgeting and trying to be sensible i have managed like im sure many of us have,

    Hi HamsterWheel

Just came back on for the first time since yesterday morning.

The £26,000 is for either 1 or 2 people plus at least 1 child. This is for Child Tax Credit.

For Working Tax Credit you have to have a household income of £15,000ish to qualify for help (plus work at least 30 hours or less if you are disabled).

I'm only declaring PADs at the moment for minimum payments. I'm not currently making extra ones as I have needed to dip into my overdraft. Looking at things, it may be like this for me for a while. I've had some higher than usual expenditure lately for business stuff (and a curry last night LOL). If all my custies were to cough up I would be in the black - but that's just not going to happen.

    Hi Paul

I had already noted your absence for the above reason :rotfl: so you were not part of the 13 - I nearly did names and then thought better of it!

Can I just confirm about my 'register'?

It is not a register per se, you know not a school register however I do have a spreadsheet with names in alphabetical order down one side and then the date across the top and I put the PAD you make next to your name! Ta Da

If everyone could post in alphabetical order that would be great cos it would make my counting easier! :rotfl:
