Goood Evening Padders!!
Here's how my day went...
It started out well at fat club this morning...I put 1lb on this week *rolls eyes*...then, I actually had to go into a bank as the little lady was playing with my purse and now all my cards are missing (inc my Boots card and driving licence) and I needed cash. Then, I went home to put dinner into the slow cooker before embarking on my adventure to the garage to get the cars m.o.t done only to find that no-one was ready to go but the nappy bag had been 'packed'.
Fast forward a couple of hours and I've got a crying toddler who needed a drink (not in nappy bag) and a crying nearly 1year old who needed fed (no food in nappy bag) BUT...here's the best bit...the garage passed my motor...but then told me the car is technically illegal to drive!!
So, we all got into the unsafe to drive car to go around the corner to another garage who fitted 2 new front tyres for £112.00 and tightened the handbreak cable for free (which the 1st garage wanted £35.00 for) and told me that there's nothing wrong with the break shoe (whatever that may be!) that the 1st garage was going to charge £42.00 to fix.
When I looked at the quote the 1st garage gave us, there was something on it for £142.00 - the seatbelt stalk! They wanted to charge us £142.00 to replace it when the plastic has fallen off and could be super glued back on!
Fast forward about an hour and we got home...more crying for toddler as she didn't want to eat the (very tasty) slow cooked meal and a really bad temper tantrum...I put her down on the sofa and left her there for about 10mins...I wouldn't normally leave her when she's upset but jesus, she can't half scream!
Anyway...I might have to break out the chocolate tonight becasue I'm feeling the need!!
Pad of £12.00 from me please EE!
Hope you've all had a fab day! xStarted PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Ouch Angelic, sounds like a bad day!
No pad for me just yet might not be doing as many this month as I made a biggish one at the beginning instead of breaking it up over the month. I haven't been spending anything so no loose change either!
Listening to football at the min *fingers crossed!*
